This coffeetable book is not only about parish history; it is also a documentation of the heritage of Holy Rosary Parish (HRP) community. It looks at both Pisamban Maragul, the edifice and Pisamban Maragul, the living church.

As we explore the history and culture of HRP, we find ourselves exploring our interconnection with other communities. Heritage conservation has that power to connect us with our past and with others. It is a helpful tool in acquainting ourselves with the spirit that nourished our forebears spiritually and culturally. It allows us to explore new expressions of faith while allowing us to touch base with our roots. This brings us to the concept of “creating new heritage”, an idea introduced by Prof. Regalado Trota Jose, Archivist of the University of Sto. Tomas and the country’s foremost authority on church heritage conservation.
