Almighty and ever-living God,
Thank you for another day ahead of us.
I do not know what’s ahead of us today,
but I believe it will be good and wonderful.
Let me walk in faith, and not by my sight.
Let me PRAISE your name, with my whole heart.
Let me TRUST your will, with my whole being.
Let me GLORIFY your works, with my whole spirit.
Let me SING your goodness, with great joy
Let me PROCLAIM your love, with my deeds.
Let me WORSHIP your name, with great devotion.
Let me OBEY your precepts, with total obedience.
Let me LISTEN to your Spirit, with great longing.
Let me FOLLOW your voice, with great urgency.
Let me SEEK your presence wherever I go.
Let me SEE you in others, including my enemies.
I am your amateur disciple,
fill me with your Holy Spirit.
I wish to be faithful and true.
I wish to listen and follow your will.
I wish to carry my daily cross with joy.
BE WITH ME for the rest of the day.
Bless this new day ahead of us.
REKINDLE my flickering hope with new fire.
RE-ENERGIZED my spirit with your life-giving graces.
STRENGTHEN me, give me courage, and make me alive.
CAST OUT all my useless fear, anxiety, and hatred.
REMOVE from my heart all regrets and frustrations,
And REPLACE them with inner joy, love, and faith.
Bath my whole being with your healing love
As I commit myself to love and serve you.
Bless me now with your holiness,
Bless my family, friends, and enemies.
Bless the path ahead of me.
Thank you, Lord, Your will be done.
